Description

1st item: Swiss or German Black Forest carved figural compote in the form of a bear seated next to a tree having a music box to the underside of the footed base and the top fitted with a glass bowl. Original retailer label to base with titles of the two arias played by the music box. 8 1/2" H x 6" dia. 2nd item: Mohair and fur stuffed animal in the form of a lion, striding position, unmarked. 8 1/4" H x 4 1/2" W x 16 1/2" D. Condition

1st item: Slight nick to edge of glass bowl, otherwise very good condition. Glass bowl is removable from base. 2nd item: Areas of wear to fur around mouth with one remaining whisker. 2" tear to cloth covering, under front left leg. Areas of loss to fur, largest 3", underside of chest. Tail slightly loose in joint.
