British silk on wool sampler, 1833, signed Sarah Spencer Allyatt, the floral vine border frames depictions of birds, dogs and insects flanking a house and floral bouquet, with a text panel reading "Give first to God the flower of thy youth/take for thy guide the sacred word of truth/then flee to chrift no time delay for none/can tell their dying day", 11.5"h x 11"w.
