Seaside landscape painting depicting rocky shoreline with crashing waves and receding surf. Framed approximately 13.25" x 17.25". Unframed approximately 11.5" x 15.5". Note: Henry Rood Jr. was born in New York and later moved to North Carolina. He worked as an artist, portraitist, illustrator, and art teacher. He was educated at the Art Student's' League in New York. He was a member of the National Artists Club in New York. His work in the Elon University collection as well as other noted private and public collections.
