Henry Rood Jr. (American (North Carolina), b. 1902), "Untitled (Barn in Spring)", oil on artist's board, apparently unsigned. Pastoral landscape painting depicting tall barn in verdant spring landscape. Unframed approximately 8.75" x 12". Note: Henry Rood Jr. was born in New York and later moved to North Carolina. He worked as an artist, portraitist, illustrator, and art teacher. He was educated at the Art Student's' League in New York. He was a member of the National Artists Club in New York. His work in the Elon University collection as well as other noted private and public collections.
