Description
Rome, ca. 2nd to 4th century CE. A free-blown green glass vessel of an exceedingly elegant and unusual form comprised of a round base leading to a globular body with a prominent ring at the upper end from which a long, cylindrical neck emerges, finally terminating in a flattened rim. In addition to its mesmerizing form, the piece presents areas of stunning rainbow and silver iridescence. Size: 2.875" in diameter at widest point x 6.75" H (7.3 cm x 17.1 cm)
