Scarce Uncut Pair of April 10, 1778 South Carolina Notes
South Carolina. April 10, 1778. Uncut Pair. Three Shillings & Nine Pence with “Beaver” vignette and Ten Shillings Denominations with “Palmetto” vignette. PCGS graded About New-50.
Fr. SC-146 & 149. Each note of this vertical pair has a huge right side margin and the top note has a huge top sheet margin as well. Holder states Apparent, minor splits, which are not evident. Both notes are boldly printed and vivid as well as their sharp vignettes. Each note individually is well centered with four huge margins. (Uncut pair).
