South Carolina. December 23, 1776. Three Dollars. “Oracle” vignette. Hebrew Text Letters. PMG graded About Uncirculated-50.
Fr. SC-137. This “1776” dated Revolutionary War issue note is boldly printed on lightly circulated period laid paper which is rarely seen offered fully signed and issued. This note has comments tear repair and stained on the holder. An extremely crisp original South Carolina Colonial note with four Hebrew text letters on the central reverse used a both decoration and anti-counterfeiting devices. A very high certified grade plus very rare and worthy of a premium being fully signed and issued.
