Description
New Jersey Currency
Exceptional Color & Printing April 16, 1764 Three Pounds
New Jersey. April 16, 1764. Three Pounds. "Solid Sun" type. PCGS graded Extremely Fine-40.
Fr. NJ-168. A French and Indian War era note for which only 2,850 of all four plate types were printed combined being about 700 produced on each Plate. James Parker printed this note in back deep black and bright red. It has eye appeal that is very much well above the norm, its holder stating minor restorations. A beautifully printed, highly colorful red and black note that compares well with the Newman Plate Note. Rare this nice.
