Portrait lens with focal length of approx. 35 cm, rear element hand-engraved: "James Davidson Edinburgh", lens version without waterhouse stop, height of the lens with lens hood 9 in., front element 3 ½ in., lens diameter 5 in., rack-and-pinion focusing. Early lens by a small-scale Scottish manufacturer. – A research subject!
