Description
A vintage graphite on paper drawing attributed to Pablo Picasso (Spanish, 1881-1973) circa 1951 titled "Portrait de Mireille" depicting a young girl seated in a chair. It is signed, marked "Vallauris", and dated "5.12.51" to the upper left and dedicated to Marcelle Humbert (Eva Gouel) to the upper right. It is presented in an ornate carved giltwood frame under a cream mat behind glass. There is an envelope from Christie's auction house affixed to the verso with a black and white photograph of Pablo Picasso and Mireille included inside. This work was a part of Igal Ahouvi's art collection.
