Early tele (zoom) lens, composed of a standard Aplanat and a supplementary system, two engravings on the tube: "Tirage" = flange focal length 21–91 and "Grossissement" = magnification 3–10. Iris stop f8–f44, minor dent on front ring, everything else in excellent condition. Height of the lens extended 7 ½ in., connecting ring Ø 2 ½ in., rack-and-pinion shift. – Literature: Corrado D'Agostini, "Photographic Lenses of the 1800's in France", p. 169.
