Two Souvenir Gold Dollar Designed by Charles E. Barber from the Louisiana Purchase Exposition, St. Louis, 1903,
One depicting the recently assassinated President William McKinley and the other Thomas Jefferson on the obverse. Both inscribed on verso 'Louisiana Purchase Exposition St. Louis, One Dollar 1803-1903'. Together with one original 'Jefferson-$3.00-McKinley' paper box.
Box dimensions: h: 1/4 x w: 1 1/4 x d: 1 1/4 in.

President McKinley coin from the collection of N.M. Kaufman, purchased from Rarcoa Inc. on August 4-5, 1978.
