One of the copies reserved for the artist and publisher from a total edition 255 copies. Illustrated with 24 original lithographs, of which 2 are double page, by Pablo Picasso. Deluxe edition with 2 extra suites of prints printed in handmade paper with Picasso watermark signature. Loose as issued in the original green paper wrappers, the front cover with a lithograph by Picasso and a cut-out profile revealing the title printed in wove paper underneath. The two suites are housed in two separate folders matching the wrappers paper, all guarded in the publisher’s slipcase in black split leather with gilt lettering on the spine. The paper of this edition is especially handmade with watermark signatures of Picasso and Cocteau. Ref: Cramer 117; Bloch 1037-60.
