Description
White jade carving of Mandarin ducks from the 18th century. The jade is carved to depict a duck and its duckling holding lotus flowers in their beaks. The ducks are atop a lotus leaf.
Dimensions are 2 inches wide by 1 3/8 inches high. All measurements are approximate.
Provenance: From a Boston estate. Collected in Hong Kong in the 1950s and 1960s.
