Description
White jade carving of a person and hill from the 18th century. The person is meditating, representing Dharma and Zen concepts. The plaque is very thin and is uncarved on one side. It comes with a wooden stand.
Dimensions are 2 1/2 inches wide by 1 7/8 inches high. The stand is 5/8 of an inch high. All measurements are approximate.
Provenance: From a Boston estate. Collected in Hong Kong in the 1950s and 1960s.
