Description
J. & E. Stevens Company Cromwell, Ct. - Circa 1890 The dentist attempts to extract a resistant molar from a patient’s mouth. He gets extra leverage by placing his left knee in the patient’s lap. It must be very painful because the patient kicks the dentist backwards. The chair back breaks at the same time, sending the patient over with flailing arms. In the end, the bloody tooth is successfully removed. It can be seen in the pincers held by the dentist. Ouch!!!! This is an extremely superior example of this rare and significant bank.
