Description
Ancient Near East, ca. 500 BCE. This is a bone-colored stone head of a handsome yet aggressive animal rendered with a strong jaw and its ears pinned back, its mouth open, teeth bared. The mane has been incised. This naturalistic piece was made to be a beautiful jewel-like finial or fitting. Comes with custom stand. Size: 0.8" W x 0.5" H (2 cm x 1.3 cm)
