Description
Mixed lot of Civil War CSA (Confederate States of America) commemorative items. The lot includes a Robert E Lee miniature Bowie knife; United Confederate Veterans 1951 First Day Cover Stamps (4); solid brass CSA trivet; American Civil War Playing Cards (1 deck); framed print of "The Confederate Flags," and a 3-7/8 in by 2-3/4 in aluminum promotional card for a Civil War Antique show (featuring a picture of Gen Thomas Hindman). The Bowie knife (made in China) measures 10 inches long with a 5-1/4 inch blade, has Robert E Lee on Traveler on the handle and lists the Confederate states below the Confederate Flag along the blade. The brass Trivet features a horse and rider at the center with crossed swords and cannons behind and marked "10-18 C.S.A. Trivet Copyright 1952 VA. Metal Crafters" on the reverse. The playing cards (made in Spain 1981) are in the original packaging with original descriptive brochure. The framed print has condition issues with the frame, but the print is in good condition retaining vivid color.
