Robert K. "Bob" LeRose (1921 - 2006) was an American advertising artist and a comic book colorist for DC Comics, who provided the color for hundreds of stories featuring Batman, Superman and other comic book heroes. This oil painting is from his student years in the mid-late 1940's. It is signed LeRose on the stretcher bar.
The painting is in good condition, with mild signs of age (some paint losses in the background, minor abrasions). The frame is new. The canvas size is 24"x18". The frame is 25.5"x19.5"
