Offered is an Unopened case of Machine Man #1 Comics, 1978. Original box features banded straps and shipping label from Phil Seuling who was an American comic book fan convention organizer and comics distributor primarily active in the 1970s. Seuling was the organizer of the annual New York Comic Art Convention, and he developed the concept of the direct market distribution system for getting comics directly into comic book specialty shops. Written with ink on the label is the date "1/9/78", along with the word "counted". Box is approx. 10-5/8" x 7" x 5".
