HUNTINGTON FAMILY (NORWICH, CONNECTICUT) SILHOUETTES, LOT OF FIVE, comprising four hollow-cut examples and one painted example, according to inscriptions verso, subjects include Lucy Huntington (1774-1822) and James Huntington (b.1771). Each housed under glass in an ebonized frame. Early 19th century. 5 1/4" x 4 1/4" to 6 1/8" x 5 5/8" OA.
Moderate to heavy toning, foxing, and staining/discoloration, one example with tears. Not examined out of frames.
Provenance: From a Williamsburg, VA private collection.
