ENGLISH TRANSFER AND BAT PRINTED CERAMIC ARTICLES, LOT OF THREE, comprising one unmarked cup and saucer set having a pink bat-printed design on exterior of cup and interior of saucer with ruins and a man and woman, set has black enamel rim and black lines on interior; and one 7" D plate having a black transfer design marked as "THE VALLEY OF / SHENANDOAH FROM / JEFFERSON'S ROCK", and marked for William Ridgeway. Staffordshire, England, and other areas. First half 19th century. Cup 2 1/2" H.
Very good visual condition overall, saucer with small flake on foot rim, plate with minute loss to glaze on front of rim.
