All marked "SEMI-VITREOUS / BUFFALO POTTERY" with date marks ranging from 1909-1917. Buffalo, New York. 1909-1917.
Undamaged except for minute flake on rim of waste bowl. Manufacturing flaw on underside of rim on sugar cover mostly covered with glaze. Some expected glaze crazing and staining.

Catalogue Note: The "Blue Willow" pattern is said to be based on the Chinese story of a young girl who runs away with a young man, only for both of them to be killed by the man who the young girl was betrothed to through an arranged marriage. The doves represent the souls of the two young lovers. The "Blue Willow" pattern has been popular since the 18th century.
