Description
A nice Egyptian faience ushabti, Late Period, c. 664 – 332 BC, standing on integral base and depicted mummiform, wearing tripartite wig with false beard, arms folded at chest, hands holding a pick and hoe, five horizontal bands of hieroglyphic text down front of legs and vertical plinth at back. H: 4 ¾ in (12.3 cm). Nice mottled pale green to vibrant blue color, mounted on wood base. Ex Los Angeles private collection.
