Description
12th-18th century AD. A mixed group of finds from the River Thames foreshore comprising: a bronze belt-mount formed as a ring with addorsed lateral scrolls; a tubular bronze socket with floral and foliage detailing; a bronze tag with mane-in-fede motif, beaded border; a brass knife pommel with hatching to one face, rosette to the other. 100 grams total, 18-48mm (3/4 - 2"). Property of an East Anglia gentleman; acquired on the London art market. [4]
