Gun (A) an Eastern Miquelet carbine, probably Morocco. Round 26-1/2" Damascus steel barrel with chiseled rib and designs, integral rear sight and smoothbore. Barrel fastened by four brass capucines. Plain brass furniture, iron trigger guard. Engraved Miquelet lock. Walnut stock missing ramrod. Very good condition; barrel with some wear, grey patina on steel, brass unpolished. Stock has small loss towards muzzle at the tip and scattered cracks and marks from use, missing ramrod. 39-3/4" overall length. Gun (B) Reproduction match lock musket. .73 caliber, 42" smoothbore steel barrel. Functional match lock action. Walnut stock of typical form, very well made. 59" overall. Ramrod partially broken through near tip. Some rust on barrel and lock, excellent condition overall.
