The Chinese gilt bronze repoussed in a shape of double gourd form, with two bulbous belly conjoined together, suspending a tall cylindrical neck and narrow opening. The vase characterized with gilt ferocious tiger climbed encircling on lower body, beneath dragons on the upper body. The exterior vividly decorated in gilt cloisonne enamel with various color of Lotus patterns against deep-cobalt-blue ground.



Mark on base, incised four script -KaiShu- character, enclosed by a squared border, QianLong Reign Period.


Dimension: 17-1/4" H x 10" Diam.

Traced numerous tiny-holes of corrosions on enamel filling, No missing wires found on cloisonne works. With normal anomalies in nature, sign of stressed surface, minor scratch & dents, and trace of declined on gilt. Normal, consider ages and wear. Over all in excellent condition.ÿ
