Pair of Chinese gilt bronze bowls repoussed into simply deep bowl vessel, with steep sides leading toward banded rim, raised on prominent concave footed base. The main body decorated in gilt cloisonne enamel works of colorful rococo lotus bloom surrounded by lotus tendrils foliage. Array of repeated ruyi pattern banded on the rim, bordered with tropical pattern on the foot. Gilt banded on the outer lips and foot.


Mark on each base, an embossed four script -KaiShu- characters enclosed within square border, QianLong Reign Period.

Traced numerous tiny-holes of corrosions on enamel filling, No missing wires found on cloisonne works. With normal anomalies in nature, sign of stressed surface, minor scratch & dents, and trace of declined on gilt. Normal, consider ages and wear. Over all in excellent condition.ÿ
