Qing Chinese gilt bronze cloisonne enamel covered censer, in slightly tapered globular body, with banded rim, raised on splayed foot base, two gilt elephant masks flanked on the shoulder. The dome lid pierced and carved with rococo scrolling floral motif supported the open-carved jade finial in form of two egrets against dense of lotus foliate. The exterior decorated in delicate cloisonne enamel works with centralized Uptala, the mystique night lotus bloom interspersed by scrolling tendrils and further lotus blooms against pale-blue-turquoise enamel ground. Banded with repeated ruyi patterns on the under the rim, and fine gilt ring on lips and foot.

Mark on base, incised five script -KaiShu- characters within gilt medallion, QianLong Reign Period.

Over all in EXCELLENT condition. Traced numerous tiny-holes of corrosions on enamel filling, No missing wires found on cloisonne works. With normal anomalies in nature, sign of stressed surface, minor scratch & dents. Surface traced wear and or declined to gilding. . Normal, consider ages and wear.
