Potted in a shallow vessel shaped charger, with wide broad cavetto, elevated round side, raised on foot base. The interior decorated with variegate tones and shades in cobalt-blue painting of fishes within water foliates, bordered with band of cresting water on the rim. The exterior having correspondence design. The underbase left unglazed, revealed pale-creme ground with grayish-brown speckles of firing marks.

Mark on base, six blue script -KaiShu- characters, enclosed within double blue fine rings, WanLi Reign Period of Great Ming.
