The Chinese Nephrite pale-celadon jade, carved into a tall rectangular shaped plaque, with relief decoration depicted an elderly sage with his attendant in a ceremonial pursuit within fenced garden besides a group of lotus blooms at waterside behind mountainous forest landscape. Displayed within a carved hardwood stand in rococo foliate motif. The jade shows clean white tone, with tinge pale celadon iridescent, and beautiful translucent.
