A Songye Nkisi Magic Power Sculpture. Carved wooden Idol adorned with tall Antelope Horn, and remnants of textile and animal hide "Bishimba" or Magical accouterments. Also of note are the eyes, which in this case are different shells and beads. Diviners made each Nkisi Idol for specific clients. Size: 27.5'' x 8'' (70 x 20 cm).
