An 80 page holographic travel diary from 1878, written by an Englishman who goes off to the Alps to climb and travel, bound in leather with a brass clasp; an 1929 diary of an English climber with approximately 100 pages of diary interleaved with 50 pages of photos as a travelogue; an oblong photo album with black & white photographs all captioned in white ink identified as "Europe June-September 1913 Clovelly to U.S. Again" although it seems to end in the Italian Alps; small album with approximately 500 small photgraphs of European scenes of which about 25 are early climbing in in alpine glaciers, ca. 1900. The balance consists of a box containing approximately 50 pieces of mountaineering ephemera, both U.S. and European. The Collection of Timothy Treacy.
