DESCRIPTION: An antique oil on panel painting depicting Napoleon being painted by a regal woman as he poses in his office. Set in a gilded bronze tripod frame, topped by an eagle standing atop a tied ribbon garnished with strings of flowers along with embossed floral rococo motif along the borders of the frame. Each corner of the frame is further decorate with gilded bronze eagles. Finished with olive green velvet borders enveloping the painting. Signed illegibly in red on the bottom left corner.
