Tony Abeyta is the son of Navajo painter and silversmith, Narciso Abeyta. Tony is a graduate of New York University and holds an honorary doctorate from the Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe. He works in both Santa Fe, NM and Berkeley, CA. His work can be found in world class museums, including the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian in Washington, D. C., the Autry Museum in Los Angeles, CA, the Heard Museum in Phoenix, AZ, and the Eiteljorg Museum in Indianapolis, IN.
