Description
Mexico, 17th to 18th century CE. A simple iron cross with a socketed base for attaching it to a wooden pole and carrying it on a procession. The edges of the cross flare outward and there is a curved pin from the top bar to one of the arms. A beautiful and simple Christian artifact. Comes with custom stand. Size: 7.1" W x 12" H (18 cm x 30.5 cm)
