unit composed of three stacking clear glass parts, each is disk-shaped. Some small cracks.
This lot includes an affidavit relating World War II Glass Land Mine Prototype developed at Libby Glass Company during the early 1940's, for the department of defense by Wayne McCreery, Chief Engineer of Libbey Glass Company during this period. (Geneva Convention outlawed testing and was never put into production). This Prototype Land Mine is believed to be one-of-a kind and the only one known to be in existence today. It has remained in the McCreery family collection. Signed by W. McCreery.
