Description
Dwight D. Eisenhower's chair, from Cherry Hills Country Club, Denver, Co. Eisenhower served as club president, chrome, ash and pine plywood with leather upholstery and brass tacks, stamped on seat rail, designed and manufactured by Sta-Wy Mfg. Co. Denver, brass plaque (detached) was mounted on chair back, engraved Dwight d. Eisenhower. The chair was in the club's President room while Eisenhower was club president until it was spilled upon and discarded, taken from trash by an employee in the 1950's until it was sold at auction in 2008, 32" high. CONDITION: Worn and stained, back of chair has two large tears from left edge to middle bottom and across half of right side.
