Description
Pre-Columbian, West Mexico, Colima, ca. 300 BCE to 300 CE. A flat figure with details fully around its body who wears an interesting costume. This includes a belt with twin dangling bobbles, several armbands, ad headdress, necklace, earrings, maybe a nose ring, and an undershirt or undergarment of some kind. The applied strips of clay that make up this decoration give the piece a nice texture and the fce, although small and somewhat abstract, has a readable expression. Comes with custom stand. Size: 3.1" W x 5.5" H (7.9 cm x 14 cm)
