Pre-Columbian, Southern Peru, ca. 300 to 100 BCE. Wonderful pottery olla with bulbous base and thin short spout. Vessel created in deep (almost black) olive-green slip with added decorative elements in red and yellow/green - these in heavy thick pigments. A lovely and desirable vessel! Size: 6.5" H (16.5 cm)
