Qing dynasty (1644-1912), a very fine and heavily embroidered wall hanging, in the center is a large character in gold thread, to the left and right are inscriptions also in gold thread, the central section is bordered by Chinese sages, longevity symbols, and Buddhist motifs and implements among scrolling flowers, a large five claw dragon in gold thread is featured at the center top, many more details throughout of auspicious Asian symbols, silk/linen fabric backing.

Some holes pierced in the silk on sides, probably from hook for hanging on wall; wear to silk and unrevealing of gold metallic threads and some silk embroidered threads; separation between the embroidery and backing on the sides; horizontal tear on upper right hand corner.
