Rare edition of this encyclopedia that covers extra-legal issues, as probabilism, Jansenism, Empire voters, religious disputes in different countries. The final part contains a very detailed table of contents; Part XII deals with the right of nations around the world from antiquity to the '700. The Jesuit Joseph Biner, 1697-1766, Swiss canonist, was also theologian engaged in numerous political disputes. Nice copy.
