Description
A large, beautiful Central Asian embroidery. These large Suzanis or embroideries were used as wall hangings in the urban and village homes of these people living in Central Asia.It consists of silk embroidery on a green silk ground cloth. These embroideries were produced as dowry items, as well as for trade within their homeland as well as for export, presumably through the Russian Czarist demand for such textiles.The condition is ok; please see detail images for any signs of damage.
