62. Lamb Countryside Cane-Ca. 1930-Fruitwood handle carved to depict a lamb head wearing a cap, selected golden ash branch shaft with a gilt collar and a metal ferrule. The portrait is naturalistically rendered with the trademarks laterally extending ears and crimped hair wool and cheered with two inset glass eyes. Rarely encountered in the wide spread cane repertoire, this cane is way out of the ordinary in size and quality and aged well with an emphasizing patina. -H. 3” x 3 ½”, O.L. 38 ½”-$300-$400
