Chinese carved baluster vase, Of elegant baluster shape sweeping up to a broad shoulder with a small conical lipped rim, the slender body incised through black slip with six floral sprigs on a milky white ground with overlapping petals on the shoulder and foot, 15.3 in high. Provenance: From a private Northern California estate by descent, purchased from Alice Boney Chinese Art in 1956.
