Western Asia, Bronze Age, ca. 1000 BCE. A beautiful geometric example of a bronze axe, with a long, narrow blade, and a gorgeously-shaped ovoid socket ending in a small, round butt. A definite contender in the category of weapons as art, this piece comes with a custom stand. Size: 7.25" L (18.4 cm)
