Description
One embroidered pouch having satin stitch figures on a ground of couched metallic gold threads above lui shui border with pierced and carved bone frame, braided cord handles, 7 x 8, ( two small breaks in frame). One kesu tapestry weave mounted on a rounded silk envelope, 8 x 5 1/2. Together with a 19th C Japanese tobacco pouch in silk and metallic brocade of dragons with a netsuke of dragons in low grade silver set in bone, (brocade worn). Good-excellent. KC
