A Victorian silver baluster hotwater jug by John Samuel Hunt, London 1865, with an ogee domed finial to the trefoil shaped cover, a high clip handle with ivory spacers, engraved with a crest, a cypher and a motto Spes Tutissima Coelis , on a circular foot, stamped underneath Hunt & Roskell, late Storr & Mortimer, 3379 , 17cm (6 3/4in) high, 455g (14.6 oz) gross The crest of KING for Sir Gilbert King, Baronet, D.L., of Charlestown, co.
