Description

Group of five classic McKinley "Gold Bugs" most with original gilding largely intact. Comprises: 1.) Two complete specimens with stinger/lever present and functional retaining both jugate portraits on wings. 2.) One example with stinger/lever present and functional missing both jugate portraits on wings. 3.) One "bug"missing stinger/lever retaining only portrait of Hobart on right wing. 4.) One pin with stinger/lever present but spring not functional yet retaining both jugate portraits on wings.

Condition

Apart from mechanical defects, already mentioned, other condition issues concern toning and stains to portraits with light soiling throughout.
