1" back-to-back ferrotype lapel badge with name portraits of Confederate States of America President Jefferson Davis on obverse, contained within wavy brass surround, and Confederate General P. Gustave Toutant (P. G. T.) Beauregard on reverse. Holed at top for suspension. Circa March 1861.

Condition

Bright portrait. Very small emulsion loss to right of Davis portait. Crazing left of Davis forehead, abrasion near proper right side of jaw and small nick left of cheek. Beauregard emulsion losses right of ear, small chip near suspension hole. Scratch across nose. With original ribbon.
